Community Education Women's Crisis Support ~ Defensa de Mujeres provides educational presentations to schools, colleges, community organizations, professionals, and service providers in Santa Cruz County. Presentations are adapted to meet the specific needs of the audience, and may be bilingual and/or bicultural as appropriate.

- Violence against women
- Causes and prevention of domestic violence and/or sexual assault
- How to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault or childhood sexual abuse
- Dating violence (adults or teens)
- Sexual harassment in schools or the workplace
- How health care providers can screen patients for domestic violence
- WCS~DdM services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
WCS~DdM also attends community events, performances and health fairs to distribute information about violence against women and our services, in English and Spanish.
