Women’s Crisis Support ~ Defensa de Mujeres is committed to being there when women reach out for help, and that’s where you come in. Our second largest source of income is individual donations from supporters like you! We rely on the members of our community to enable us to keep our doors open for every victim seeking help. Consider donating and see what an impact only a few dollars can make. $25 feeds three families at the shelter per day. $50 pays for two safety planning sessions for a domestic violence survivor $100 pays for staffing one 12-hour shift on our 24-hour Crisis Line $200 provides one survivor assistance with a restraining order $300 provides 12 counseling sessions to survivors of sexual assault/rape $500 provides 15 teen dating violence education presentations that reach hundreds of our youth $1500 provides a one week stay at our emergency shelter and all supportive services for women and their children

Women’s Crisis Support ~ Defensa de Mujures

Women’s Crisis Support~Defensa de Mujeres provides crisis intervention, including our 24-hour crisis line, crisis counseling, support groups, and referrals and information about domestic violence or sexual assault. WCS~DdM also provides counseling services for children and youth, educational presentations about domestic violence and sexual assault to schools and service providers throughout the county, and emergency safe shelter for women and children in need. All of our services are available in Spanish.
